Claude’s characters are thrown into mysterious situations from the off and must find their way in strange and unfamiliar environments. His narratives skilfully weave historical fact with action, mystery, sci-fi and horror, and will appeal to fans of time travelling stories. He explores some lesser-known places and periods, bringing them vividly to life for the reader to experience themselves. His deep interest in history, especially in antiquity and the time of the explorers, brought him to write books based on alternative history and historical fiction.
